Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and [Registered business name] ("ScrollUGC", "we") for your use of scrollugc.com and the ScrollUGC app (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them.
1. The Service
ScrollUGC reads the public page of an app or website you give us, writes short-form video hook lines for it, and renders those lines as captions on short reaction clips from our library. You choose which clip and line pairs to keep, and only those are rendered.
2. Your account
You must be 18 or older and give accurate details. You're responsible for keeping your login safe and for what happens under your account. Tell us at hello@scrollugc.com if you think someone else has used it.
3. Your content and your apps
Only submit links to apps or sites you own or are authorised to market. You keep all rights to your brand, product names and anything you provide. You give us permission to use it only to run the Service for you.
4. Videos you make
Subject to these terms and to your plan, you may download the videos rendered for you, and post them on your own or your clients' social accounts and ads to promote the app you submitted. You may not resell the library clips on their own, or use them to suggest that the people shown endorse a specific product, make claims they didn't make, or in any unlawful, misleading or harmful way.
Hook lines are written by AI and may be inaccurate. Review every video before you post it. You're responsible for the claims your posts make, and for following each platform's rules and advertising laws (including disclosure of paid promotion where required).
5. Acceptable use
- No illegal products, adult content, gambling, weapons, hate, harassment, or deceptive health or financial claims.
- No attempts to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the Service, or to get around usage limits.
- No sharing accounts, or reselling the Service without a written agreement with us.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
6. Plans, credits and payment
New accounts get a free trial with a limited number of videos. Paid plans give a set number of videos each billing period, and unused videos don't carry over unless your plan says so. Renders that fail are refunded as credits automatically. Prices, taxes and billing terms are shown before you pay. Cancellations and refunds follow our refund and cancellation policy.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep ScrollUGC available and fast, but it's provided "as is" and may change, pause or have errors. We may update features, plans and these terms. We'll post changes here, and email you about significant ones before they take effect.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, ScrollUGC isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or the performance of the videos you post. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before it. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
9. Ending
You can stop using ScrollUGC and delete your account at any time (see Settings, or email us). We may end or suspend access if you break these terms. Sections 4 (for videos already made), 8 and 10 survive.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of [Country / state whose law applies]. Courts there have jurisdiction, unless your local consumer law gives you other rights.
